The 22nd International Conference of the Iranian Society of Cryptology will be hosted by the Cyberspace Research Institute of Shahid Beheshti University on October 8–9, 2025. This scientific event is designed to strengthen university–industry interactions, foster knowledge exchange, present the latest achievements, and create a platform for joint collaboration among researchers and professionals in the field of cybersecurity.
According to the Conference Secretariat, this year’s event has received remarkable attention: more than 130 scientific, industrial, and international papers were submitted, of which 46 papers were selected for presentation after a rigorous review process.
Ahead of the main conference, on October 6–7, 2025, 18 specialized workshops will be held, addressing national needs and offering participants an exceptional opportunity to enhance their professional skills.
In addition to the scientific sessions, several innovative programs have been planned, including the Employment Café and Lightning Talks. The Employment Café will enable companies and organizations active in the cybersecurity sector to engage directly with participants, while in the Lightning Talks, selected companies will introduce their activities, career opportunities, and technological needs in a short, dynamic format.
The scientific program of the conference will also feature two distinguished international keynote speakers: Professor Bart Preneel from KU Leuven, Belgium, and Professor Peter Schwabe from Radboud University, the Netherlands. Their talks will address cutting-edge topics such as the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as the global transition toward post-quantum cryptography.
