The 3x3 basketball team of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) participated in the 6th Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship, hosted by China.
The boys' basketball team of SBU represented our country with a lineup of four athletes in this competition.
The team of SBU composed of Erfan Bozorgi, Behshad Arabzadeh, Amirhossein Rezaeifar, and Amirborna Danesh, under the coaching of Dr. Mohammadreza Boroumand and supervision of Dr. Mohammadrasool Khodadadi.
Our national representative won the first match with a score of 20-17 against the team from Singapore and faced the host team from China in the second match, losing with a score of 20-18.
In their third match, the team of SBU defeated the team from Chinese Taipei with a score of 20-16 and advanced to the top eight teams of Asian university students.
Finally, in their fourth match, the team lost to the team of Guangdong University from China with a score of 21-18 and was eliminated from the competition.
The 6th Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship was held from June 9 to June 14, 2024 in Zhoushan, China.
