Shahid Beheshti University

The Third Educational Cultural Course for international students from across the country was hosted by Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) from July 5 to 10, 2024.
This course was held with the efforts of the IRI Student Affairs Organization (Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology). Over 700 international students studying in the country registered in this course, and ultimately, 352 students attended the course and were accommodated in the student dormitories. Among the attendees, 126 were women and 226 were men.
The opening ceremony was held on July 6, 2024, alongside an exhibition of world cultures in the university's international conference hall.
During the course, numerous educational classes on cultural topics, such as international relations, history and culture, current world human geography, family issues, social ethics, media, and student social responsibility, were offered by prominent university professors from across the country, which were generally well-received by the students.
The closing ceremony was a public event attended by students and invited academic figures in the university's international conference hall. In the closing ceremony, in addition to speeches by distinguished academic and cultural figures, several artistic and theatrical performances, including traditional Muharram recitations, were presented.
Throughout the course, in addition to morning class sessions and lectures, daily recreational, sightseeing, or pilgrimage activities were organized in various locations around Tehran after lunch.
At the end of the course on July 10, 2024, all students were awarded a certificate of participation along with a gift package.
