Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) was ranked 13th among the universities of the Iranian Ministry of Science in the latest Times ranking.
Times Institute of Higher Education has published the names of 65 Iranian institutions in the list of top institutions in Asia in its 2023 edition.
According to this report, SBU was ranked 251-300 among the top universities in Asia.
SBU has obtained 2.32 in education, 9.33 in research, 2.36 in citations, 3.56 in industrial income, and 7.23 in global perspective.
The Times Asia university ranking system evaluates the leading institutions in Asia in five fields of education (with a weight of 25%), global perspective (with a weight of 7.5%), research (with a weight of 30%), citations (with a weight of 30%), and industrial incomes (with a weight of 7.5 percent) based on 13 quantitative criteria.
Based on the 2023 edition of the Times Asia university ranking, the following universities are ranked in second to ninth, respectively: Tsinghua University, Peking University, National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Tokyo, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
