The project "Designing and Building an Intelligent Self-driving Robot" was carried out by the Robotics Laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Hossein Moayeri, a faculty member of the faculty, with the support of the research and development center of the Mobile Communication Company of Iran (Hamrah-e Avval). The final presentation of this project took place in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with the presence of Dr. Akhaei, deputy of digital solutions and intelligentization of the foregoing center.
Self-driving cars are the cars of the future. However, before these cars can be mass produced in real dimensions in factories, it is necessary to design and test powerful algorithms and prototypes for them. The students of the Robotics Laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of SBU have achieved this goal.
