The International Center for Persian Language Teaching (AZFA Center) of Shahid Beheshti University was established with the permission of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in September 2015 with the aim of expanding Persian culture, language and literature. This center accepts applicants of Persian language learning from all over the world and provides education by offering different courses.
Considering the prestige of Shahid Beheshti University and the AZFA Center of the university and the special growing position of Persian language in the world, Dr. Seyed Mahmoud Reza Aghamiri, President of Shahid Beheshti University said: “Reaching a top position in recruiting international students requires drawing a strategic vision for organizing and improving the quality of their educational, research and welfare-administrative services. To this end, the AZFA Center of the university has created a fundamental transformation by adopting a new strategic management, providing specialized services and compiling efficient up-to-date educational packages.”
Referring to the goals of the Azfa Center, the president of the university said: “The main goal of the AZFA Center is to promote Persian language education, spread Iranian culture and civilization in the world and create grounds for recruiting more Persian learners.”
He expressed hope that with the new policies of the center in the framework of the policies and programs of the university and the provision of suitable educational and research facilities and infrastructures, we will witness the promotion of the university at the international level.
