On Monday, February 19, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the Persian translation of the book “Are We Slaves to Our Genes?” was held at Simorgh Hall of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU). This ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammad Ali Mazaheri, dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology and head of the Psychology and Religion Center, Dr. Sare Arjmand, a faculty member of the Faculty of Molecular Genetics of SBU, Dr. Esmaeil Sadrodini, a faculty member of the Faculty of Medical Biotechnology of University of Tehran, and Dr. Bahare Shirvani and Dr. Mehdi Nasaji, translators of the book. In addition, the main author of the book, Dr. Denis Alexander, a professor at Cambridge University, presented his message on the chapters of the book and commended the translators of the book in the form of a video file. On the sidelines of the meeting, Roshd Publications, the publisher of the book, also presented a book exhibition.
