Delegation of Faculty of Sport Sciences of SBU participates in Serbian Summer School

In order to develop scientific and research cooperation in the field of sport sciences and based on the memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Health of SBU and the Sports Academy Belgrade, a group of students of various fields left for Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on Friday, September 23, 2022, in the framework of a two-week scientific-educational program (Summer School).
In the first week of the program, the Iranian delegation visited the historical and cultural centers of Belgrade on Sunday, and participated in educational classes, including various subjects such as exercise science, biomechanics of various sports, holding international sport events, sport talent identification, the role of yoga in health, rhythmic movements in sports, sport pathology, principles of writing sport business plans, and championship sports from Monday to Friday (September 26-30, 9 am to 4 pm). The delegation also visited the sport facilities and equipment of Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade clubs, which are among the most prestigious sport clubs in Europe, and watched the training of the first teams of these two clubs and their medical-sport and bodybuilding camps.
In the second week, the dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Health, together with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Serbia, held a meeting with the mayor of Požarevac regarding the examination of scientific and sport cooperation between Požarevac and Iranian cities. After the meeting, the members of the delegation along with the Iranian ambassador visited the horse-riding club of Požarevac, which is the oldest club in Serbia. In the continuation of this week's programs, various specialized training classes including recovery and fatigue in sports, peace, sports and human rights, exercise planning in water polo, basketball and biomechanics of skiing, sport technology and engineering in wrestling, artificial intelligence in sports and personal branding in sports were held every day between 9 am and 3 pm. The delegation also visited the Novak Djokovic Tennis Academy and watched the practices of the Red Star Belgrade volleyball team.
On the last day, the delegation visited the central sports hall of Belgrade, which has been the venue for international competitions, including the recent Wrestling World Cup, and got acquainted with the design and architecture of this huge hall.
Dr. Sajjad Ahmadizad and Dr. Seyed Emad Hosseini gave lectures in in the first week, and Dr. Mohammad Pourkiani and Dr. Hamidollah Hasanlouei presented their specialized speech in the second week. In total, 18 classes and workshops were held in various specialized fields during the two weeks.
According to the agreement made with the Sports Academy Belgrade, it is planned that the students and professors of sports sciences of the Serbian Academy will attend a similar program in Iran in the summer. 
The delegation left Serbia for Iran on Thursday, October 6 at 23:55.
