Shahid Beheshti University

A delegation of professors from Moscow’s Higher University of Economics (HSE) visited Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) on Sunday, April 21, 2024, with the aim of negotiating in the framework of BRICS.
A 4-member delegation led by prof. Victoria Panova, vice rector of Moscow’s HSE, attended SBU to negotiate with the officials of SBU within the framework of BRICS.
In a joint meeting with prof. Abtahi, director of international scientific cooperation of SBU, the delegation discussed ways of joint cooperation.
In this meeting, prof. Abtahi introduced the university and explained the university’s programs and actions in the field of BRICS. Further, the Russian delegation discussed future actions and plans.
Moscow’s HSE is among the three largest universities in Russia and one of the leading universities in this country in the fields of economics, management, sociology, computer science, public administration, political science, regional studies, basic sciences and mathematical sciences. Faculty members, researchers and students from 100 countries are working in this university. HSE is ranked 399th in the world ranking (QS) in 2024 and is ranked first among Russian universities in some subject rankings. This university is consistently among the top 5 universities in Russia in terms of admitting students.
