A student of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) won a silver medal at the 4th International Invention and Innovation Competition for IFIA INV Members in Switzerland.
Heshmatollah Nourizadeh, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering - Power at SBU, succeeded in winning a silver medal at the 4th International Invention and Innovation Competition in Switzerland, which is specifically for members of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA).
The 2024 International Invention and Innovation Competition was held in Geneva with the participation of 40 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Morocco, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, and Russia, featuring 600 inventions from around the world. It was overseen by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and covered 15 different fields, including engineering, computer science, agriculture and environment, chemistry, biology, and medicine.
In this competition, Heshmatollah Nourizadeh, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering - Power at Shahid Abbaspour Technical and Engineering Campus and an official member of the IFIA, presented a system for monitoring and assessing the condition of energy distribution network cables, which earned him a silver medal.
He had also previously won a gold medal and a special award at the 2023 National Robotics and Mechatronics Olympiad.
