Student of SBU makes history in 2022 Triathle Asian Championship
According to the Triathlon Federation, the 2022 Asia Triathlon Championship competitions were held in Burabay, Kazakhstan on July 1, 2022. Seyed Parsa Mahjoub, an Iranian national athlete and a sports science undergraduate student of SBU, won the third place of these competitions, thereby making our country a medal winner for the first time in the history of the Asian Championship competitions in this field.
In order to win this historical and valuable medal, Mahjoub competed with prominent athletes of the Asian continent, such as Ian Bisenbaif, the champion of Asia and the runner-up of the Asian Games. Giving a great performance, he beat Meirlan Iskakov and took the bronze medal of the Asian Triathlon Championship.
