On the occasion of the beginning of the new year 2023, a friendly meeting was held at International Students Office of Shahid Beheshti University on Monday, January 2, 2023, with the presence of the head of the office and a group of international students of the university.
In this meeting, which was organized by the Vice-presidency for Education of the university, Dr. Sepideh Abedi, head of the International Students Office, introduced the academic guidance programs of the university for international students. Then the students presented their points of view on educational issues.
Dr. Abedi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Mechanical and Energy Engineering of the University, pointed out that currently international students from 18 different countries of the world are studying in 21 faculties at different levels, and added: “Considering the importance of academic guidance of international students of the university, 17 international professors have been introduced to guide these students in the faculties. By continuously monitoring the students’ academic progress, and identifying their talents and educational needs, these professors advance the educational goals of the students and the university as best as possible.
